12 Drams of Christmas!

To get you all in the festive spirit we have put together a ’12 Drams of Christmas’ with some festive recipes for you to try with some of our favourite Duncan Taylor bottlings:

Day 1: Spiced Whisky Cream Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

600 ml double or whipping cream
4 teaspoons ground ginger
4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon grated nutmeg
4 tablespoons Sugar
2-4 tablespoons whisky (Recommended Whisky: Rare Auld Linkwood 1989 Cask 5040)

Instructions:

Heat the cream, spices and sugar in a pan over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved completely. Bring to the boil and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring.  Remove from the heat and add the whisky. Serve hot with Christmas pudding.
