tasting notes for the Rarest of the Rare Banff 1975

Rarest of the Rare Banff 1975 35yo 42.5% alc/vol 700ml

Colour:  Warm gold,

Nose:  Tropical fruits, soft smoke, white chocolate.  A touch earthy with pineapple juice.

Taste:  Syrupy, hint of spice.  Lots of fruits – mangos, lychee, sweet peat.  A touch of saltiness and grapefruit.

Finish:  Quite a lot of toffee, faint saltiness and lots of peaches.

Comment: Bursting with tropical fruits with background coastalness – stunning.
