Dram of the Day!

 Tasting Notes for Rare Auld Laphroaig 1997 54.7% Cask 56363

Colour: Pale Straw

Nose: Unmistakably Laphroaig, creamy and medicinal. Touch of creosote and some hay notes. Some bananas emerge. 

Taste: Really ashy! Lots of dry smoke. iodine medicinal, olive oil and grassy. 

Finish: Lots of dry ash, white chocolate, burnt wood and figs 

Comment: Wow – A big dram!
